Christmas in July

Mark your calendars -- Tuesday July 16th we are having a little get together at my house and Olie and I will be demonstrating several fun projects made with charm packs.  I think at last count we had 8 or so different projects to share with you.  The demonstration will begin at 7:00 p.m. at 3472 East 400 North, Lewisville, Idaho.  Bring a friend, sister, mother, aunt, daughter, and join us.  I promise you will not be disappointed ;o) and we will be having a special discount for those of you who join us!  (Oh wait, that was supposed to be a surprise).

Also, Olie will be doing the jelly roll demonstration beginning at 6:00 p.m. if you missed it last month. Some of you ladies have brought your finished blocks or projects by for me to see and they are so fun -- every one of them looks a little bit different.  Many of you who are new to quilting have jumped right in and are doing amazing work!  Give yourself a pat on the back (and if you want, bring your finished projects with you for a little show and tell -- everyone loves to see what they look like when they are completed)!

We have some new fabric this week, AdornIt has a new line out called Chamberry.  We have some fat quarter bundles and are ordering some bolts that should be in soon.  The Wildflower and Nested Owls has done so well we are reordering some of it and even bringing in a couple more bolts we didn't get last time!  We also have quilt kits available for the Wildflower Chevron quilt and we will be doing some kits out of the Nested Owl Charcoal.  If you want to make something smaller we still have some 5" and 10" squares!

Several new precuts should also be arriving soon -- we keep checking for the UPS man every day ... biting our nails and counting the hours ... hope they arrive soon!

Our Two By Two pattern is free this month with the purchase of a jelly roll or layer cake.  This is a very fun and versatile quilt.

We have a sample quilt made from Simply Sweet layer cake that is absolutely adorable.  I made this one using a pattern we have in our shop, it's a darling table topper but I made this one bigger to use as a baby quilt.

We have more stitchery patterns, tea towels, quilt patterns ..... and we keep adding more!  Thanks for all of you who stopped by last weekend, it was great to see you and visit.

I am not posting pictures tonight -- I have been so tempted as I have quilted the projects for the demonstration, but you must just come and see!  Sadly, I have done several quilts for weddings I cannot share either ;o( because I wouldn't want to ruin all the fun surprises awaiting the newlyweds.
