Happy 4th of July!

I am incredibly thankful when Independence Day comes around.  It is always fun to celebrate with family and friends, going to the celebration in little Menan, Idaho (town is small, celebration is huge), games, vendors, displays, parade, fireworks, etc. ... I have my list ready of items to pack up tonight to take home and it's growing line by line ;o)

But, even more important to me this time of year are my sons.   My oldest son, Trevor, a whopping 25 years of age now, is a member of the Idaho Army National Guard.  He (and his darling little family) have sacrificed greatly with their time and talents for our country.  Austin (20 years) who is now in the Navy, is attending nuclear school in South Carolina.

Where's your smile?

I can sew and quilt for hours on end, but there is never a day goes by that I don't think of my sons and how much I love and appreciate them.  They are two amazing young men and I am a very proud mother!!

Now that these pictures are out there for all to see and I will be one DEAD mother when a particular son finds out about this, I may as well offer a fabric sale.  It's hot outside and the last thing you may want to do is think about fabric but I have a great stash builder sale.  Visit my etsy shop and enter the coupon code "beattheheat15" -- it is good for 15% discount on your purchase of $20.00 or more.  Offer is good through July 7th!

I hope you have an amazing and safe 4th of July!

Evie ~
