Quilt Therapy - Postage Stamp Quilt

Can you believe it?  Our quarterly quilt therapy day is almost here!  We will be making a postage stamp quilt this time around and they are so much fun.  I love how each one has its own individual look.  Let us know as soon possible if you plan to participate.  The cost is $5.00 which goes towards  renting the Lewisville Community Center.

All you need to do is stop by the shop and pick up your jelly roll and background fabric.  Bring your own machine, sewing supplies and something to share for our pot luck luncheon.  If you haven't been to one of our quilt therapy days before, it's a fun time.  You will get lots of instruction and individual assistance as you need it and you can sew to your heart's content!

Date:  January 11, 2014
Demonstration time:  10:00 a.m.
Place:  Lewisville Community Center

Here are a few photos to help you get a little more excited!!!  Invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers -- anyone who can sew a straight seam.  It will help with the cold January winter blues I PROMISE!!!!  That's why we call it our Quilt Therapy :o)

We have lots of jelly rolls in the shop right now -- French General, Sandy Gervais, Kate Spain, Kansas Troubles, Minick & Simpson, Eric & Julie Comstock and even our Rolie Polies from Riley Blake would work great in making a baby or toddler quilt!  Call or e-mail and let us know if we should add your name to the list!

We are not planning on bringing a lot of inventory on the day of the class so PLEASE stop by before and pick up your supplies.  If you have a jelly roll you want to use already, that's fine too!  See you on the 11th!!

Evie
