Our demonstration will be projects using 2 1/2" strips. One of these projects was taught as a demonstration at our shop last July -- but we have more ideas to share. We just love playing with fabric (this is no secret to the community)!!! Check back soon for a tiny sneak peek ...

We would
love to display your quilts. Each quilt must have a 3x5 card attached to the
front right corner of the quilt with the maker’s name in large print, city, and
the quilt’s name and comments about the quilt. Please call the library,
357-7801, to tell us how many quilts you will bring. Deliver your quilts to the
library Monday, January 27 or call Terry to make special arrangements. Please
pick up your quilt on Wed. evening between 7:00-7:30. Please do not ask to pick
it up before that time. Thank you for

To enter, give:
6-half-square
triangles, (9 ½ inches) made in either of these colors:

Tans and plaids
(for boys)
2.
Whites and bright pretties (for girls)
See
samples and get the pattern if needed at the library. Please measure
your block to ensure it is 9 ½ inches square!
Every six
blocks will earn one ticket. Safety pin
these together with a slip of paper with your name and phone number on it. Enter as many groups of six as you want. To qualify, please use good quilt-shop
quality fabrics, 100% cotton.
We will turn these
into quilts and give to charitable causes in our area.
Turn these in any time before Jan 29, 2:00
p.m. at the library in Shelley to enter your name in the drawing for this super
prize, and feel great about donating to good causes!

12 ½ inch Block
Contest
Blocks can be either pieced or appliqué,
using any pattern, and at least some of the focus fabric. Focus fabric can be purchased at the library
for $1.00 beginning Dec 2. Enter up to
two blocks per person.
To qualify, you must make sure your block
measures 12 ½ inches. Label each block with your name and phone number, pinned
to the back.
Turn your block into the library any time
before 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 27,
2014. Winners are by popular vote and
will be awarded cash prizes.
All participants will be entered into a
random drawing to win the blocks.
Voting on the blocks will close at 2:30 p.m.
on Wed. Jan. 29. Winners announced in
the classroom at 4:00 p.m.
